365 Solutions Group has worked with our Generation Operations team at Origin Energy to develop a Digital Operator Round Information System (DORIS) PowerApps solution.
The problem we faced was the previous check sheets were hand-written, labour-intensive and hard to track day-to-day.
365 Solutions Group has transformed these onerous sheets into an easy-to-use, stable app connected to a central online check sheet. The app synchronises the completed tasks in near-to-real-time across all devices and continues to function through connectivity dropouts with seamless offline capabilities. We now have the ability to log plant issues instantly from the phone with photos and accurately measure when tasks are completed; this has transformed the daily experience for our operations teams on site.
The app data remains within our existing SharePoint environment and is accessed securely through PowerApps.
