About this service
Dynamics 365 is a full suite of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tools that integrate tightly with the Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity tools. In fact, you need a Microsoft 365 tenant to be able to use Dynamics 365.
Dynamics 365 Sales
The foundation of Dynamics 365 business applications suite is the Sales module, which helps you to track customer interactions, manage your pipeline of leads and opportunities, measure your sales activity such as conversion rate, time to convert and much more.
Before Dynamics CRM was built to be available as a cloud SaaS (Software as a Service) offering, it was only affordable to large enterprises, but now it can work for everyone from microbusinesses through to multinational corporations.
Out of the box, the default settings are more suited to larger businesses with long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders both within the customer and the seller’s business, so we have customized Dynamics CRM to suit our needs as a small dynamic business. It still has all the capability of the full application, but it reflects how we do business more accurately.
This has been so successful for us that we built it as a templated solution for other small businesses, at a very affordable fixed price and with minimal input required from your team for us to configure it to meet your specific business requirements. This means you can install it, train your team and be up and running with a full CRM sales management solution in a few days.

Dynamics 365 Customer Service
This module is all about helping you to support your customers with personalized support that suits them. It is a sophisticated omni-channel ticketing system, so customers can reach out to you via email, an online portal, phone call or chat service, and get the support they need when they need it via the medium they prefer.
With powerful AI capabilities, you can leverage self-service capabilities to reduce your overheads while simultaneously providing a consistently high and rapid support experience to your customers. Providing a portal with extensive knowledgebase features to let your customers find the answers they are looking for 24×7, and automated chat bots handling the most common issues, the return on investment for this module can be enormous.

Business Central
(formerly Dynamics NAV)
Business Central is the ERP engine for the Dynamics platform, which is like accounting software on steroids. If you think of Xero, which is a very user-friendly and powerful tool for most small business’ accounting requirements, it does a fantastic job of handling standard financial management and reporting, such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Profit and Loss statements, Balance sheets and plenty more.
Where tools like Xero fall short, however, is when you want to manage project costing, warehousing, stock and inventory management, manufacturing, supply chain management, CPQ (Configure, Price Quote), import/export and foreign currencies, and CRM functionality.
Business Central is generally quite expensive to implement, and drives a huge ROI over time through better management if your operations, which is why it is often suited to larger businesses which are involved in manufacturing, wholesale operations, distribution and similar work.
Wiise is essentially Business Central under the covers, but is aimed at smaller businesses, which it achieves by being wizard-driven when it comes to implementation. Wiise was built specifically for the Australian market, has GST configured out of the box, and includes bank feed and payroll modules, both of which are add-ons for Business Central.
If you require some of the addition al features that ERP offers over accounting software, or you are experiencing limitations with what your accounting software can handle with companies, transactions or users, Wiise is quite possibly a great fit for your business. Reach out to us here to find out if it’s right for you.
There are lots of other modules which are mostly suitable for large enterprises, as they have high minimum requirements for licensing and/or you need large teams to justify the effort to configure them. Here are the other modules with links to Microsoft’s pages about them, feel free to reach out to discuss them with us if you feel they might be applicable for your business.
